Grassroots Support From Our Jacksonville Arkansas Post

Host Senior Citizens Thanksgiving dinner for about 300 people

Provide and deliver Christmas food baskets to needy

Conduct Buddy Poppy fund raising drives for disabled veterans

Place US Flags on departed veteran's graves on Veterans day and Memorial day.

Sponsor Local Boy Scouts of America Troop

Host fun children's events:  Easter egg hunt, Halloween party, Christmas party, and two fishing derbies at
the VFW pond

Provide awards to Little Rock AFB quarterly and annual award winners

Award Savings bonds to the top 3 places of the "Voice of Democracy" and "Patriots Pen" competition

Provide medals for Junior ROTC banquets in Cabot and Jacksonville
